Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented individual looking for a key role in supporting effective governance?

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Governance Support Coordinator based in Wellington to join our clients team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support governance meetings: Ensure smooth operations for all governance-related meetings.
  • Assist and support Chairs: Provide essential support to governance Chairs, ensuring efficient meeting coordination.
  • Work with the Programme & Leadership: Support both the Programme and senior leadership with day-to-day governance activities.
  • Maintain governance schedules: Stay on top of governance calendars and schedules, ensuring timely organisation.
  • Organise governance packs: Prepare and distribute well-structured packs to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Respond to governance member requests: Provide prompt and professional assistance to governance members' needs.
  • Collaborate with Executive Assistants: Work closely with EAs to ensure seamless coordination across various activities.
  • Chase actions and papers: Follow up on action items and outstanding papers to ensure timely completion.
  • Create high-quality governance packs: Craft clear, concise, and comprehensive packs for meetings.
  • Ensure governance excellence: Improve the quality and rigour of governance artefacts, including reviewing papers and maintaining high standards for minutes.
  • Manage governance registers: Ensure all governance registers are up-to-date and properly maintained.
  • Maintain forward agendas: Keep a forward-looking view of governance matters, ensuring future agendas are well-planned and aligned.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A Wellington-based candidate with a keen eye for detail and a passion for governance.
  • Experience in managing governance processes and supporting senior leadership.
  • A proactive mindset, always anticipating the needs of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to handle multiple tasks with ease.
